This year we are completely changing the format of the Preparing Global Leaders Forum (#PGLS2020)!
PGLSF - Russia becoming an intensive workshop and will be held in the middle of January so our participants will have the opportunity to join one of the most famous international event, the so-called "Russian DAVOS Forum" - the Gaidar Forum.

#PGLS2019 is a 3-4 days-long programme of practical simulations, workshops, public speaking exercises delivered by the world-leading experts and professionals.
The program seeks to prepare aspiring global scholar-leaders with the tools that are necessary for effective leadership in an increasingly complex world.
Students and young professionals take short courses from internationally recognized faculty and participate in a range of leadership simulations. Specifically, participants will learn how to develop an opposable, interdisciplinary mind with an ability to work with and across ideological, national, religious, class and racial differences. They will learn how to communicate effectively, think both critically and creatively with a particular emphasis on how to advance the global public good.
#PGLS2019 curricula and simulations will cover the following topics: negotiation, strategic thinking, public speaking, networking, persuasion, technology and governance, branding, and public policy.

Delegates will be staying at the RANEPA Hotel / Dormitory on campus.
Delegates will be staying in shared accommodation. Shared accommodation includes a twin room with 2 separate beds.
Daily breakfast and lunch provided at the Cafe outside of Campus.
Delegates will have meals tickets which will be equivalent to 350 rubles per 1 breakfast and 450 rubles per 1 lunch.

The Participation fee is $900. The participation fee includes shared accommodation from the 14th to 21th January 2020 (till 12pm). Food (breakfast and lunch), receptions, transportation from and to the airport and excursions are all included within the fee. For delegates not requiring an accommodation, the participation fee is $650.
#PGLS2020 DO NOT provide scholarships.
#PGLS2020 schedule provides a range of cultural activities and official visit which were included in the organization fee. Participants will have the opportunity to see Moscow city center during the 4 hours bus excursion and 2 additional events.

Sam Potolicchio (President) – Georgetown University

Dr. Sam Potolicchio is Director of Global and Custom Education at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. Potolicchio was named one of “America’s Best Professors” by the Princeton Review, the only one in his field, and the Future Leader of American Higher Education by the Association of Colleges and Universities. Potolicchio has delivered lectures in over 75 countries including at Oxford, Yale, Cambridge, Sorbonne, London School of Economics, Brown, Dartmouth, Bologna and Warwick.
He also serves as the Department Chairman and Distinguished Professor in Political and Social Communications at the School of Public Policy at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and as the President of Preparing Global Leaders Forum a leadership training program for rising leaders from over 100 countries. Potolicchio is a senior adviser to high ranking officials around the globe and is currently the Director and academic designer of the first english language program on Global Governance and Leadership in the Russian Federation. He is a visiting professor at New York University and an official lecturer at the Library of Congress for OWLC, an international leadership program of the United States Congress. Potolicchio holds a B.A. in Government and a B.A. in Psychology from Georgetown, an M.T.S. in Theology and Culture, a PRSE from Harvard, and an MA and PhD in Government from Georgetown.
