Fyodor Lukyanov – PGLS 2016, 2017

Fyodor Lukyanov has been editor of Russia in Global Affairs journal published with participation of Foreign Affairs since it's founding 2002. Under his leadership the journal became one of the most authoritative sources of independent information on foreign policy and international relations in Russia. December 2012 Mr. Lukyanov was elected as chairman of Council on foreign and defense policy (SVOP), the oldest Russian NGO providing expertise in the field of security and foreign affairs. He is member of presidium of Russian international affairs council. Since 2015 he is research professor at Higher School of Economics in Moscow. His column appears regularly in The Moscow Times, Russian edition of Forbes magazine, Rossiyskaya gazeta, 
Fyodor Lukyanov has extensive background in Russian media since 1990. Now he is one of the most quoted commentators of Russian foreign policy worldwide. He graduated from Moscow State University 1991, has master’s degree in German language and literature.

Dr Dmitry Polikanov – PGLS 2016, 2017

Dr Dmitry Polikanov is Chairman of the Trialogue Club and Board Member of the Security Index journal.

He has a vast experience of working with various Russian and international organizations, being involved in research and political consulting. Graduating from MGIMO, he joined the PIR Center in 1998 starting his career in foreign policy analysis. He was advisor to the head of the Moscow delegation of the ICRC, Director for International and Public Relations of the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM). He then moved to politics in 2007-2012 and became Deputy Head of the Central Executive Committee of the ruling United Russia party. After the presidential elections he returned to the NGO sphere and consultancy.

Dmitry is a guest lecturer at the NATO School in Oberammergau, Germany since 2001 speaking to the senior officers of the Alliance and partner countries. He also lectures at MGIMO. He is the author of over 100 publications in Russian and foreign languages on Russian domestic and foreign policy and international security. He is also a member of the Expert Council at the Government of the Russian Federation.

Andrey Sushentsov – PGLS 2017

Candidate of political sciences, program director of the Valdai Club Foundation

He heads Moscow-based consultancy Foreign Policy Advisory Group and holds position of an Associate Professor at MGIMO University of the Russian Foreign Ministry. He is a graduate of the School of History of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and graduate of MGIMO-University.
His publications are devoted to US foreign policy in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq ("Small US Wars", 2014, and "Essays on US Policy in the Regional Conflicts of the 2000s," 2014). A series of articles and reports Andrey Sushentsov focused on Russian-American relations and Russian policies in relations with Georgia and Ukraine. In his recent research author examines the spheres of conflicting interests between Russia and the United States in Eurasia. In 2015, Sushentsov was the co-editor of the geopolitical forecast "Russia and the World in 2020." Contours of an Alarming Future. "
He is a frequent speaker on issues related to Russian foreign policy, conflicts in Eurasia and Russia-West relations. Since 2007 he lectured and presented in several academic establishments and think-tanks including Harvard University, Yale University, LUISS University, Chatham House, Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and Sciences Po.
